Ms. Kunkel was born and raised in northern Wyoming. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Montana where she received double Bachelors degrees in Art and Psychology. She went on to earn her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a School Counseling endorsement from the University of Wyoming. She moved to Dubois in 2010 and is currently in her third year as the district's K-12 School Counselor. She is devoted to the successful implementation of a K-12 Guidance Curriculum aligned with ASCA National Standards and is currently working on becoming a certified Career Development Facilitator in the state of Wyoming. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, tying flies, traveling, reading the Sunday paper, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
